Behaviour
An International Journal of Behavioural Biology
Managing Editor:
BEHAVIOUR aims to publish substantial contributions to the biological analysis of the causation, ontogeny, function, and evolution of behaviour of all animal species, including humans. Publication occurs as fast as possible, generally 3-6 months after definite acceptance. The journal is open primarily to reports of original research, but theoretical and other papers will be considered if they clearly promote the experimental study of the subject. Descriptive and methodological papers can only be considered if they illuminate basic biological questions. Physiological, genetic, and ecological aspects of the subject are given their due share of space. The editorial board is currently encouraging papers on causal and ontogenetic problems.
